Solarflare CEO to Join Orange County Technology Panel

Technology Leaders Collaborate to Drive Growth in Silicon Cove

IRVINE, CA—September 7, 2016—Solarflare, the leader in application-intelligent networking solutions, today announced that CEO Russell Stern will participate on a panel discussion for the “The JPMorgan Chase Orange County Technology Think Tank’s” inaugural event, held on Thursday, September 8, from 4:30-7:30pm at the UC Irvine Applied Innovation Center (“The Cove”). Mr. Stern will join a group of distinguished panelists including: John Collmer, Executive Director, J.P. Morgan Private Capital Markets, Eric Basu, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Sentek Global, Dave Cozzens, Chief Executive Officer, Telogis and Bob Phillippy, Chief Executive Officer, Newport Corporation; Director, MKS Instruments; Director ESCO Technologies, where they will share experiences and discuss strategies on improving the growth capital ecosystem in Southern California.

Mr. Stern was selected from a comprised group of Orange County technology leaders in supporting the evolution of the Orange County innovation and technology community (known as the Silicon Cove). Entrepreneurs, executives, directors, and strategic investors will come together to discuss their struggles on how to best maximize the value of their products and businesses, and fund growth across multiple stages of a business’ life cycle. The goal of the event is to better understand the ever changing technology landscape, collaboratively determine how to navigate these hurdles and uncover a more sophisticated and deliberate approach to leverage multiple strategic and finance partners.
