Solarflare to Speak at 2015 STAC Summit: New York
IRVINE, CA—November 30, 2015—Solarflare, the leader in application-intelligent networking solutions, today announced that Matthew Knight, Technical Marketing Director of Financial Services at Solarflare, will be speaking at the New York STAC event.
Mr. Knight will be talking about the most recent updates from Solarflare including:
- The second generation ApplicationOnload Engine (AOE), which combines a 40-Gigabit Ethernet server adapter with an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) processor to meet the demand from financial services clients for customizable and high-performance network applications. With the latest iteration of the AOE adapter, clients can now implement high-performance request-response applications entirely on the FPGA to dramatically reduce latency and eliminating the need for costly TCP Offload Engines.
- Partnership with Velocimetrics, the leader in real-time performance monitoring and analysis technology, to provide a real-time packet capture and network analysis tool that can help firms measure performance against client service level agreements (SLAs) and comply with upcoming regulation around record-keeping
